(LS) Last night an architect firm was hired by the board of directors for the Mifflin Co. School District to look at the current facilities the district has compared to the number of students enrolled & the educational needs & wants of both the students & its location geographically. The district's new superintendent, James Estep, said this architect firm, McKissick Associates, would also use the information collected to come up with some options for consideration for the school board in regards to the district's operation. The cost of the feasibility study was not to go over $18,900. Also at last night's school board meeting, the direcors recalled 2 recently furloughed teachers, approved some change orders for the IVHS construction, & hired 11 for various athletic positions.
