| (DI) A 23-y/o night manager of the Mifflinburg McDonald's was charged yesterday with allowing some of her employees to smoke marijuana in the play area of the restaurant after the eatery closed. Justina Geiswite has been charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance & possession of drug paraphernalia. A co-worker told police that on March 8 she, another employee & 2 friends smoked marijuana inside the restaurant. During employee questioning one came forward to tell police that a pouch of marijuana has been hidden inside the restaurant. The pouch was found stuffed behind the cash register at the drive-through window & was determined to belong to Geiswite, who told police it belonged to her boyfriend. Inside the pouch were 2 glass marijuana pipes & close to 2 grams of marijuana. |
