07 - 15 - 2010 Centre Hall murder suspect wants a new judge
(CDT) The Centre Hall woman charged with planning her husband’s shooting death wants a new judge on her case. The attorney for Mirinda Boob is asking Judge Pamela Ruest to remove herself from the case—scheduled to go to trial in October—saying she has “established a pattern of conduct & decisions from which raises a substantial doubt as to its ability to preside impartially.” Meanwhile, state police are getting a forensic analysis of a computer found in the house Mirinda & Samuel Boob shared on Tusseyville Rd. After Sam Boob was shot to death just outside their home 2 months ago, his mother was cleaning his house out, preparing it for sale, & found the computer that police say had been used by Mirinda Boob. In a written statement, police said that, “Given that the accused have communicated electronically in planning & communicating for this murder...It is believed that the computer may contain further evidence of preparation of this crime.”
