| PennDOT will begin road work today on Rt. 75 in & around the borough of Port Royal. Major roadways in Juniata Co. will include Rt.75, Rt. 35, & Rt. 333. In Mifflin County, it will include Rt. 655 through Belleville. A total of 19 roads will see resurfacing work as part of this contract, with work including milling, paving, pavement markings, & upgrades to concrete handicap ramps. Motorists should be alert for roadway flaggers, alternating traffic patterns, & slowed or stopped traffic. PennDOT will issue work updates as necessary. Jay Fulkroad & Sons, Inc. is the contractor on this $2.9 million project. All work is weather dependent. PennDOT expects the work on this contract to be finished at the end of September. |
