| State Police have arrested 26-y/o Joshua Sheaffer of Richfield over the weekend on aggravated assault charges after he was accused of causing injuries to a 5-wk. old infant. Police say the baby boy was taken to Hershey Medical Center & was listed in stable condition after Sheaffer threatened the life of the child & of an adult female known to police if the female took the child for medical treatment. Sheaffer told the woman that he would go to jail as a result. Sheaffer was also charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering, endangering a child’s welfare, & terroristic threats. He was arraigned & incarcerated in the Juniata Co. Jail on $75,000 straight bail. |
