| (LS) A decision by the state Attorney General over a recent incident involving 2 Mifflin Co. Commissioners will not result in criminal charges. In that incident which occurred in Dec. of last year, commissioner Otis Riden was engaged with Mark Sunderland over an issue that escalated into what Riden felt was a threat by Sunderland. Riden took his accusation to county DA Steve Snook who forwarded it to the state AG due to a conflict of interest. After speaking with both commissioners, the Senior Deputy AG released a statement in a letter to Snook’s office saying the case did not support criminal charges & will be closed. When contacted, Riden stated he was not pleased with the state’s decision in the case. |
