| State Police in Huntingdon say 19-y/o Rachel Foster of Lewistown pulled out in front of a motorcycle at the intersection of US 22 & Snyder’s Run Rd. in Smithfield Twp., Huntingdon Co. on Saturday afternoon. The driver of the cycle, 58-y/o Ronald Gouker of Mercersburg who was not wearing a helmet, was eastbound & laid the cycle down on its side which caused his passenger, 52-y/o Sandra Gouker also of Mercersburg, to be thrown off the vehicle. The cycle slid into the left rear bumper of Foster’s car seriously injuring Gouker, who had to be flown from the scene while his passenger was taken to J.C. Blair Hospital for treatment. |
